Burlington, ON — Sodexo Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Leena Verma as the new Human Resources Vice-President, effective January 22. 

Leena brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record in driving business performance through strategic people management. 

In almost 20 years of her HR career, Leena has worked in healthcare, financial services, consulting, and most recently in the senior living sector. Her leadership philosophy revolves around empowering teams and instilling a culture of accountability as core imperatives for success.  

Leena's innovative approach to addressing staffing challenges has not only set her apart but has also garnered recognition from peers in the sector. Her out-of-the-box people solutions have been acknowledged and adopted as best practices within the industry. These solutions, rooted in a deep understanding of the complex dynamics of healthcare, have consistently delivered results. 

As VP of HR, Leena will be leading some key projects such as developing the HR strategy, building Sodexo's employer brand to create a thriving workplace, promoting a culture of growth and accountability, and strengthening our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
