Lorenzo Carlesi was appointed as the new CEO of the Healthcare and Senior Living segment

Mr. Carlesi’s mission is to lead Sodexo’s growing business by delivering patient nutrition, culinary services, infection prevention, technology management and other essential services for Sodexo’s healthcare and long-term care clients across Canada. Together with a team of experts in place, they will accelerate the evolution of our offers and services to better suit your needs in this everyday changing world.

Previously, Lorenzo served as CEO for Sodexo Healthcare and Seniors in the Mediterranean region starting in 2016. He joined Sodexo in 2012 to lead a Group-wide transformation program and later led growth and business improvement projects in Europe. Before joining Sodexo, he led the growth strategy and business development at Fincantieri and was a senior member of McKinsey & Co.’s Corporate Finance & Strategy Practice. 

Lorenzo holds a Ph.D. in Organization and Management and a Master’s Degree in Economics from Tor Vergata University in Rome. He is based at Sodexo’s head office in Burlington, Ontario.
