Our Journey to a Better Tomorrow

Sodexo Canada is dedicated to preventing gender-based violence (GBV) by promoting a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all. Through our policies, training, resources, and partnerships, we focus on embedding efforts to raise awareness and enhance personal safety. We empower our teams to be proactive allies in creating a violence-free workplace and to speak out against all forms of GBV.
By prioritizing these preventative actions, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering meaningful change and building a future where everyone can live and work free from fear.

At the heart of everything we do are our people. Their passion, commitment, and teamwork make us who we are who we are and we are proud to celebrate their contributions together.

Through our industry-leading Culture and Belonging expertise, we drive collective success by equipping our teams with comprehensive resources and business tools, leading proactive initiatives to break down barriers to inclusion, and aligning our services with each client’s Culture and Belonging journey, we are committed to fostering lasting, positive change across organizations.

Our Approach to Responsible Sourcing
Identifying and providing local sourcing information within our supply chain has been key to our ongoing partnerships with local and small businesses. In 2024 Sodexo Canada increased OSS purchasing spend for local, SME and Diverse supply an additional $7.2Million from the previous fiscal year.
This increase brings Sodexo Canada to a total of 24.8%, with a target of 25% by 2025.

Sustainable Food Barometer in Canada
Sodexo Canada’s Second Sustainable Food Barometer reveals that most Canadians are embracing healthier, more sustainable diets. Based on a global survey of over 8,700 people, including over 1,500 Canadians, the findings highlight key trends, challenges, and strategies to turn aspirations into action.

Success Together
Sodexo Canada’s Climate Action Roadmap helps clients meet their sustainability goals through four powerful pillars:
Responsible Sourcing: We build resilient supply chains by sourcing certified, sustainable products and collaborating with local, diverse suppliers. Resource Stewardship: We optimize site operations by cutting waste, saving water, and promoting reuse and circular practices. Carbon Reduction: We design low-carbon menus, adopt renewable energy, and use smart tech to track and lower emissions. Investing in People & Communities: We support inclusive workplaces, train employees, and lead local initiatives that fight hunger and promote equity.
Partnering with Sodexo means driving measurable environmental and social impact—while meeting your business objectives.
