Burlington, ON, May 28, 2024 - Sodexo Canada, is pleased to announce James Nesbitt has joined the Canadian leadership team as Chief Operating Officer Health & Care, Campus and Corporate Services. A newly created position, James will lead oversight of these recently consolidated segments. 

James brings depth and breadth of experience managing high-performing operations and facilities management teams across senior care, and high-volume food and product retail sector. Along with his solid operational and business background, James has a proven track record of delivering a warm and caring hospitality experience as well as building long-lasting client relations.

Before joining Sodexo, James was most recently at Compass Group Canada where he spent the past 13 years in various business segments, including five years as the President of Marquise Hospitality and President, ESS North America and ECC for the past year. Before joining Compass, James had a career in retail fulfilling operational roles at Wal-Mart and Zellers.

He will be based out of Sodexo’s Burlington office.
