Montreal, May 31st, 2020 – Renowned nutrition doctor Isabelle Huot has become the ambassador for Mindful, Sodexo's health and wellness program, within the entire Sodexo Canada territory. This program offers both a range of balanced meals, prepared by certified nutritionists and dieticians, but also a range of physical activities and meditation, focused on the well-being of employees.

Sodexo and nutrition expert Isabelle Huot are long-time partners. In fact, the Dr in nutrition and businesswoman has been distributing her health products through the Sodexo network throughout Quebec for years. In 2019, Sodexo and Isabelle launched a healthy menu program at a Sodexo clients downtown Montreal. Based on this success and the growing demand from the company's various clients, Sodexo and Isabelle have decided to expand the offer and extend their partnership to the entire Canadian territory. Kevin Maniaci, Director of Sodexo's Food Platform said: "Flavour can't be overlooked when it comes to healthy eating, after all, it's only good for you if you eat it all! And since healthy habits are here to stay, it is essential that we enjoy them. Sodexo is committed to developing and promoting health and wellness solutions for our clients, consumers and our own employees by encouraging balanced meal options and reducing the consumption of sugar, salt and saturated fat at our sites."

Sodexo is one of the largest privately held companies with the largest number of certified nutritionists on staff. The brand partners with its clients and communities to establish comprehensive health and wellness programs that enable people to improve their quality of life.

"I am thrilled to become the national ambassador for Sodexo's Mindful program," said Isabelle Huot. “This global initiative is designed to help consumers make informed choices to achieve their personal health and wellness goals without sacrificing taste. This is very much in line with my mission. As a health professional, and especially in these troubled times where people can easily lose their bearings, it is essential for me to help people make the right choices by informing them and making healthy choices accessible."

The Sodexo network will make available:

  • Healthy menus developed by Isabelle Huot and her team
